ENGLISH THEATRE

Próximamente nuestros alumnos asistirán, en la Casa de las Artes, a una sesión de teatro en inglés.

“The young Will is a fourteen year-old kid who plays
videogames and doesn’t like to do his homework. He has
a Shakespeare assignment due for the next morning, but
Will doesn’t care and keeps playing all night. He falls
asleep and he’ll meet the ghost of William Shakespeare,
who will help him wake up and finish his homework by
playing a couple of his most known plays: Romeo and
Juliet, Midsummer Night’s Dream and Hamlet.
Do you want to join him in his dreamy adventure?”

“Every year, Nôtre Dame has the Party of Fools, where
the most stupid person is elected as the King of Fools.
This year the winner is Quasimodo, a hunchback. He
works ringing the bells of the Cathedral of Nôtre Dame as
an assistant to Friar Frollo.
But at the Fools Party, Frollo watches the beautiful
dancer Esmeralda and falls in love with her. Since he is a
man of God he isn’t allowed to fall in love, but he turns
evil and tries to kidnap Esmeralda, blaming Quasimodo
for it. Quasimodo ends up in jail and Esmeralda frees
herself and confronts Frollo for the kidnapping, but
Frollo frames Esmeralda for murder and both her and
Quasimodo turn into fugitives... and into friends.
Will Esmeralda and the Hunchback prove their
innocence? Will they stop the evil Friar Frollo?”
